spinning stardust in the cosmic wind - by Earth Primbee

The intricate orbits of tiny atoms
in harmony they spin us into being
I reach out and touch you
our particles mixing
nothing separates us but fields
our variety of construction mistaken
for differences to separate
when cheerfully we should embrace
your religion my religion
your country my country
your culture my culture
still our atoms spin together
held tight by the same force
we spin around and around
in beautiful reproduction of
of a microscopic world
Our whole galaxy
a singular entity in space
spinning together
we are connected
how can we not love
everyone with whom
we share this fantastic
existence.
If our own atoms hated each other
our bodies would fly apart
repelled by resentment
we would cease to be whole
billions and billions
of tiny pieces
that once held fast
to one another
Harmony is the truth
melody the map
notes the steps
in the universe’s song
Don’t be afraid to sing along
