who are we?
Virtual Life Media is a group of artists creating in the world of Second Life. Our primary focus is on the continuing mission of developing Inspire Space Park and our other parks. In addition we create machinima and other visual content for use in the virtual and material worlds.
Virtual Life Media was founded by Earth Primbee. In the world of Star Wars Galaxies he is known as Tobius Eswas. Once long ago he established the Nadir Island Resort on Rori. The collaboration there with other players to build an entertainment and peaceful pursuit vacation spot was the first step towards what is now Inspire Space Park in Second Life.
Bringing his vision into the world of Second Life changed everything as Tobius became Earth and he began learning the in’s and out’s of the Second Life platform. Shortly after landing in Second Life, Earth came back into contact with Grafx Newbold. Grafx and Earth had colaborated in years past on lightshows for bands and clubs in the material world. Taking that same spirit of creative colaboration and fusing it with artist passions from both worlds Earth and Grafx began to build Inspire Parks. Spawning out of Earth’s first 1024 sq meter of highway side land, Inspire Parks began to grow.

After months of developing Inspire Beach, Grafx looked upward and Earth followed him to the skies. Inspire Space Park was born. They created the first planets and the original platform was contstructed. With Grafx’s eye for placement and Earth’s interactive features the two Inspirators’ creativity began to meld. They established ambient/downtempo chill as the park’s soundtrack. The park’s land holdings in the area grew and so the vision expanded. Soon Raphael joined as the 3rd Inspirator!

Raphael’s ability for creating space textures and the advent of sculptie prims led us into a new dimension of space. Earth’s orbital rides allowed visitors to orbit the space park at varied heights and speeds giving way to larger and slower orbits as time went on.

Filling the need for a higher energy alternative space to accompany the space park’s ambient setting, Earth constructed a platform inside the giant planet beside the space park’s platform. Grafx improved it, and Raphael took it to a new dimension. The Inspire Dance Planet was created.

Together Grafx, Raphael, and Earth had created a version of space directly from the human imagination. Inspired no doubt by the great creation in which the material world is nestled in, but built in a way to bring them, along with the world, closer to that cosmos and each other through a relaxing combination of sight, sound, and motion.

Many wonderful friends have joined us in the effort to keep Inspire Space Park and Beach a safe and relaxing place. A thousand thank you’s to Ani, Inju, Neon, Paine, Diru, Devi, and all the musicians that have graced our blessed corner of the metaverse.
